TERMS & CONDITIONS ON YACHT CHARTERS

 - We want to always be clear and sincere with our clients, that is why we clarify that we do not make returns unless we fail with providing the service.

- If you do not come that day to receive your service or cancel within four hours of the trip, you lose the full deposit.

- Any damage to the boat must be paid in full.

- We DO NOT do reschedules only if the weather is bad or you’ve tested positive for covid-19 (we would need to see the test results).

- We DONT take same-day reschedules. If so we will have to cancel and you lose the deposit.

- We are intermediaries between you and the owner/captain of the boat, and it will be that person who will make contact directly to you and answer any and all questions after the initial first half deposit.

PRIVATE CHARTERS

The following policies apply to cancellations requested by the customer which are non-weather related or “no-shows” at the scheduled charter time. In the event of a cancellation request made with 7 days’ notice or more, we will make every effort to reschedule your tour. “No shows” will forfeit 100% of the charter deposit. Please note our cancellation policy is a four hour notice.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

The following policies apply to cancellations determined by the Captain which are weather related. The sail usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but we may cancel the activity up to an hour before the start time in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. In the event of a weather cancellation, yachts Lux Rentals Miami will make every effort to reschedule your tour at no additional charge but NO MONEY REFUNDS.

We are always keeping an eye on the weather, and stay turned throughout the day to see how it progresses. If we need to cancel, we will call you at least an hour prior to your sail and reschedule your sail to a mutually agreeable date and time at no additional cost to you. Please note that it is the Captain who makes the call – should you opt to reschedule on your own accord, rescheduling fees will apply.

DANGEROUS CONDITIONS

We do not sail in dangerous conditions under any circumstances.  We avoid heavy rain as best as possible and do no sail in lighting or severe winds or seas.

In the event of a cancellation by the Captain of the vessel due to severe weather conditions or mechanical failure, the sail will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date and time at no additional cost to you.  Refunds are not offered.  Severe weather is determined solely by the Captain of the vessel.
